Heatwave policy

Policies have been developed by the Corangamite and Moyne shires, and a number of health care agencies in response to heatwaves and other extreme weather conditions such as bushfires and floods.

These policies focus on both client health and Occupational Health and Safety (OH & S) issues that staff may encounter during heatwaves.

Examples of these policies have been made available to assist agencies who are currently developing extreme weather policies of their own.
